
Dr. iur. Thossaporn Saensawatt
Thossaporn’s practice focuses mainly on administrative and constitutional law. His experience and representations include, inter alia, administrative court cases involving claims for additional compensation for expropriated land of a public limited company, and cases involving administrative disputes related to Thai securities and exchange law. He has also provided legal advice on various cases concerning public interests and fundamental rights under the Thai Constitution.
Thossaporn obtained his LL.B. from Thammasat University. In 2011, he was awarded a scholarship to pursue a Master of Laws at the University of Passau (Germany). Shortly after completing his degree with the highest distinction, summa cum laude, he was granted a research scholarship for further academic study in Germany. His doctoral dissertation received the highest distinction, summa cum laude, and the Dissertation Prize from the University of Passau. Since 2022, his research has been published by the academic publisher Mohr Siebeck. His book was included in the “Selected Literature” (Literaturauswahl) on the topic of “Constitution” by the Library of the German Bundestag.
He was a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Chiang Mai University (2021–2022), before relocating to the Faculty of Law, Ramkhamhaeng University (2022–2024). Furthermore, he served as a Visiting Professor at Kasetsart University. During his academic career, he has published several works, the most notable of which are the textbooks The Fundamental Principles of Thai Constitutional Law and Administrative Law, both published by Winyuchon Publication House.
