Kongphanh Santivong (“KP”) is a foreign registered lawyer based in the Vientiane office of LS Horizon.
KP focuses on providing advisory services in cross-border investment, concessions law, corporate, due diligence, labor law, and international investment arbitration.
He has conducted due diligence of the first proposed Lao IPO in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on behalf of underwriters, acted as local counsel for the sale of a gaming concession, and represented the Lao government in investment arbitrations. KP is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and the state of Maryland. Prior to LS, KP worked with premier law firms in Washington, D.C. and clerked for the late Honorable Steffen W. Graae of the D.C. Superior Court.
KP is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law (J.D.), Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (M.A.) and the University of Washington (B.A.).
