Xaynari has earned a Master of Law Degree from Harvard Law School and Masters in International Law from University of Kiev, USSR, and has practiced law in the Lao P.D.R. for more than 12 years both in the public and private sectors.

Prior to joining LS Horizon, she was the Manager of the Legal Department of PricewaterhouseCoopers (Lao) Ltd.

She has been involved in providing tax and legal advice to foreign investment project companies in Lao PDR.

She has assisted in: negotiation with Government and the central bank regarding investment agreements, amendments and foreign borrowings; all licensing and compliance issues; share transfers; foreign exchange issues; labour and general commercial issues; negotiating direct and indirect tax disputes with tax authorities.

Her work has involved in acting for those companies and their financiers or potential financiers regarding due diligence, legal reviews and all Lao law consent and security aspects of the financing of the projects.
