Advising the Government of Lao PDR’s issuance of baht bonds in Thailand worth THB 1,500,000,000 with a term of three years and an interest rate of 4.5 per cent per annum. The bonds were issued through private placement. The Lao bond is a milestone for other countries that want to raise funds in Thailand.
Representing EDL, the Lao PDR’s state enterprise in connection with the incorporation of EDL-Generation Public Company (“EDL-Gen”) and the initial public offering of up to 217,149,000 ordinary shares of EDL-Gen on the newly-established Lao Securities Exchange (“LSX”).
